spectres, holy cobras, crusades and dead lights @ the legion

amazing show last night. crusades did an excellent job opening the show. not really my kind of stuff but they definately brought it. dead lights was great, it was my first time seeing them, which is weird since they're friends of mine. holy cobras for sure got the people dancing, with their blend of 70's punk and garage. spectres by far were the best band of the night. mixing post punk and peace punk in my books is awesome.

sadly there is no dead lights videos or anything, but i am selling there tapes, if you are interested. response to my distro has been quite positive. over time it will just get better.

records are finally in.

i must say that the postman is the favorite person right now. i was supposed to get the mob 47 s/t 7", but alas i did not recieve it. hit me up if your interested in any of these.

when listening to this record, DEATHSIDE and BASTARD come to mind. this is a must have.

all i can say is that this is the perfect mix of swedish crust and 80s us hardcore.

my old roommate tyler is in this band. they are fucken killer. pure raging sound assault. if you have the chance to see them live, i highly suggest you do so.

WILLFUL NEGLECT

out of all the records i got in montreal this weekend, this is definately my favourite. interestingly enough back in 1981 when they formed, sorry confusers was one of the names they were gonna call themselves. this is interesting because its one of the songs on the 1982 - 1984 discography cd they have.
